The Mr. Zena Residence renovation was a transformative project aimed at modernizing a 175m² home while improving both its functionality and aesthetic appeal. The original design featured an outdated facade and inefficient spatial planning, prompting a complete overhaul to create a sleek, contemporary residence that aligns with modern architectural trends.

One of the major changes involved repositioning the staircase to enhance circulation and maximize usable space. The original placement was restrictive, making movement between floors less efficient. By adjusting its location, we improved the home’s flow, ensuring a more open and spacious feel.

Another significant upgrade was the conversion of the gable roof into a flat roof, a key design choice that modernized the home’s appearance. To enhance the clean, geometric aesthetic, we concealed the flat roof with a parapet, giving the house a sleek, rectangular profile. This not only improved the exterior’s visual appeal but also aligned with contemporary architectural trends that emphasize simplicity and elegance.
